cPanel is a Linux based web hosting control panel that provides a graphical interface and tools designed to simplify the process of managing a web site and everything that goes with it – email accounts, FTP accounts, add-on services, etc.

To log into your cPanel account, you need the following and you would have received these from me when your account was first set up:

• Username
• Password

Open a browser window and go to http://www.yourdomain/cpanel/, where “yourdomain” is you domain name (ex., jewebdesign.com).

You’ll be redirected to a secure URL and presented with an authentication log in dialog.

Enter your cPanel account username and password, and you’ll be presented with your cPanel home page.
